Mao has her own house, although it is not large, and lives with her husband Masaki. One day, Masaki was promoted to assistant manager, allowing her grandmother to move into a reputable nursing home. Masaki's boss and Mao's ex-boss, Nishikawa, helped her with this. Masaki takes Nishikawa home one day and gets drunk only with sake. Then, when Nishikawa confessed that he had loved Mao for a long time, he touched her body while talking about her husband's progress and her grandmother's future.
