Sachiko, a widow who lost her husband. The young man who came to pay his condolences was his former subordinate, Asai. I used to come to his house to play while he was alive, so I'm familiar with him. While the two of them are having a drink and talking about memories, Sachiko is bewildered by Asai's sudden confession. But she gradually becomes attracted to him as she encourages him. Combined with her lonely feelings, she goes from being a widow to being an ordinary woman.
